Today's my birthday, and it was lovely waking up in a comfortable bed with the morning to ourselves. In Juneau, we didn't do much other than stroll around, enjoy the great food, and walk on the Flume Trail.
On the way to the Flume Trailhead, we visited the Russian Orthodox Church built in 1893 by newly baptized Tlingit and Serbian miners from plans sent from Russia.
For lunch, we ate fish tacos and sipped champagne at Deckhand Dave's dockside eatery. My birthday dinner was king crab legs at Twisted Fish Company.
Tomorrow, we fly home to the July heat.
